Little kids in China don't wear diapers. They were pants with a big hole cut in them so their bums hang out, and when they need to go to the bathroom their mom just holds them out over the curb on the street. I have seen so many toddler butts this trip.
I bring this up because as we were sitting in the train station on our way out of Beijing, I couldn't but wonder what they do if the kid has to pee inside, or what if they pee while their being held? It seems like saving money on diapers is not worth the risk.
P.S. Sleeper cars are the worst transportation ever. Nothing like a metal bed with a rug over it on a train with open compartments for 6 hours with Chinese people staring at you to make one not sleep at all. Awkward.
