Evening pastime

Just got back from the pub. Took a nap this afternoon (after watching a British soap opera while waiting for Friends scheduled after it to come on) and got up around 9:30. Since there's 5 or 6 bars in Ballyvaughan we weren't sure where to go, but Devon wanted to try the whiskey place so we went and ordered from the owner named Caramel, arguably Carmen, and talked with David, son of the owner of the L'arco restaurant and another fellow who moved here from Delaware or something.
Here I am, drinking some Irish whiskey:

I originally ordered Guinness just because I felt the cultural need to drink an Irish beer in an Irish pub, but, like I vaguely anticipated, it was nasty so I switched drinks with Sarah, who wasn't seeming too keen on her whiskey.
This is Sarah:

Gloclainn's is a small little joint, also known by a different name that I am failing to remember, so we picked up and went down the road to a larger, more loungier place that had local music* and a group of persistant (and probably tipsy) natives that tried to get us all up and dancing. (Sadly, there are no pictures of that because I was too busy bobbing around in the middle of the floor to an acoustic version of "Hey ya.")
