Nope, still don't have one.
There's some pretty awesome if touristy pocketwatches at the gift store in Ballyvaughan (ballyVAUGHAN if you're Irish, and ballyVAUGKAN if you're REALLY Irish) for only 22 euro that I considered getting. I like the idea of a pocket watch because I've developed an annoyance to things on my wrists in recent years that makes me a little shy of getting a regular wristwatch. When we stopped for lunch on our Connemara trip we (Emily, Natalie, me) checked out a jewelers for watches but they were the same price or more as in Ballyvaughan, and definately less cool (except that one with the firetrucks on it but Emily snagged it first wamp wamp).
I had hoped to find a cheap one in Galway, but as our walking tour took way long (I'm still not sure why we had to walk all the way out to the campus for a 1.7 minute speech about how it's cool that you can take classes in Gaelic here) so our free time was severely limited (for us leaving that afternoon rather than staying over, at least).
Speaking of leaving-- it's awfully nice to have the house almost empty! Emily and I had some Bailey's hot chocolate (while drooling over the recipes found on the website).. and then went to bed early. It was so quiet..
Speaking of beds and watches, I think I woke up at like 6:30 this morning. (That's "half six" if you're Irish.) I say 'I think' because not only do I not have a way to tell the time in my room, but it was uncharacteristically sunny this morning, and I have had no prior experience this week of learning how the sun looks in the morning in my room (which faces east), so I thought it was about 3 hours later than it is. I sort of lolled about for another hour, then got up and showered, dressed, brushed, came downstairs expecting it to be lunch time and it was 9:15.
That's what time Robert comes to pick us up for school in the morning. I think something's wrong with me...
