it's too early for this

6:50 am. toilet making drippy noises woke me up.

In case we were forgetting that we have to actually go to school over here, we finally got our class schedules:

Monday morning I have painting
Monday afternoon I have advanced photography
Monday night is our weekly announcements meeting

Tuesday morning is nuthin'
Tuesday afternoon is mixed media (a class I didn't really want to take but they were very persuasive..)

Wednesday morning we all have free studio time and then our weekly random guest lecture before lunch. (This week it was on Irish music, for example)
Wednesday afternoon is nuthin'

Thursday morning is creative writing
Thursday afternoon is nuthin'

Friday morning is Irish studies lecture
Friday afternoon is Irish studies field trip

Also, on the days where I have "nutin'," I still have to be at school at the same time as everyone else because we sign in at 9:30 in the office. (Classes go to 4:30) They said they pretty much expect us to do at least 45 hours in the studios per week. So now I have a full time job with overtime?

There are only 20 or so students at the school, including all 11 undergrads, first and second year masters, and one phd. (We have some classes with a few of the post-baccs. but the 2nd years and the phd girl we really only inteact with during lunch)

Oh hey, now it's 7:03 which means I have to get up because today is our first Irish studies trip (we had the lecture last night, so it's all day today) and Robert* is picking us up from the house an hour early today blehhhg.

*Robert does everything. He takes care of all the maintenance stuff at the school and at our house, runs the school store, drives us to and from school in the morning and afternoon, knows like everything, and fixes all the stuff we break. (It's common for us to greet him in the morning with a list of broken things in the house. We're very dependent on him!)
This is what what we get shuttled around in:

(I don't have a picture of Robert. yet.)
